Army’s fighters upgraded with 120-km-range missiles

Tehran, YJC. In this year’s parade, the Army showed off one of its latest developments, air-to-surface missiles with 120 km range.

Qaem is one of the Army’s latest projects where missiles with 120 km range are installed on fighters for air-to-surface attacks.

In this project the Noor missile is used which is one of the most widely used marine cruise missiles.

The Minister of Defense said on the occasion of its inauguration that the missile can be used off-shore, on board watercraft, and aircraft.

Among the features of the missile are the automatic pilot system, programming prior to launch, the ability to target objects with low little radar surface area, advanced radar with anti-electronic war features, rapid rigging, and targeting off-shore objects.
