TEHRAN, April 12, YJC - Commander of Iran’s Army Ground Force Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari announced that the Ground Force will inaugurate the production lines of four strategic military products in the current Iranian year (started on March 21).
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Speaking to reporters at a press conference in Tehran on Wednesday, Brigadier General Heidari pointed to the recent guidelines by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and said the Army Ground Force has planned some measures, including, most importantly, implementation of the guidelines.
The commander added that the Army Ground force will launch the production of various equipment, including parts of Tanks, armored personnel carriers, and military choppers.
Iranian military experts and technicians have in recent years made great headways in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient in the arms sphere.
Tehran has always assured other nations that its military might poses no threat to the regional countries, saying that the Islamic Republic’s defense doctrine is entirely based on deterrence.
