TEHRAN, April 8, YJC - Secretary of Iranian Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani and his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev discussed US aggression on Syria in a phone call.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - During the phone call, Shamkhani stressed establishing n independent probe committee to investigate dark aspects of suspicious chemical attack in Idlib, and said given annihilation of Syrian chemical weapons several years ago (initiated by Russia and supervised by the UN), the attack came by a third party for making an excuse to launch military attack on Syria.
He also said the US moves in Syria and region would boost terrorists’ morale and disrupt the process of battle against terrorists followed by Iran, Syria and Russia under the UN supervision.
Patrushev, for his part, condemned US military strike against Syria, and said, "The IS move is apparent aggression against an independent country. It runs counter to positions announced by the US administration and helps terrorists.”
