TEHRAN, April 5, YJC - US army announced on Wednesday that North Korea test-fired a ballistic missile landed in Japan sea.

Young Journalists Club (YJC)- The missile was fired from near Sinpo, a port city on the east Sea of Korea.
South Korea’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement announcing this act of North Korea challenges a series of UN Security Council resolutions on North Korea’s nuclear and missile program.
South Korea’s Army also stated that North Korea fired a missile form its eastern coasts towards Korea Peninsula.
The launch comes just a day before the start of a summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and China's President Xi Jinping, where talks about adding pressure on the North to drop its arms development will take center stage.
According to Reuters, the primary assessments indicated that the missile is KN-15 middle-range (40 miles) ballistic missile.
