TEHRAN, April 4, YJC - Iran categorically slammed the recent terrorist attack in St. Petersburg Metro which claimed lives of 11 people and left over 50 injured.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - "Creating insecurity and killing innocent people is the meanest action to meet a political target. Such action done by ant mean and any motive is condemned,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi.
 
The Iranian official stressed international collective battle in confronting terrorism, and said, "We believe that there is no way to uproot the brutal crimes but serious will and resolve of all government, international organizations and in one word international consensus.”
 
The explosion tore through a train as it was traveling between two stations in Russia's second-largest city.

A second, larger device was found and defused at another station, Russia's Anti-Terrorism Committee said.
Alongside the dead, 51 people were injured in the incident.
