TEHRAN, March 27, YJC - Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on the occasion of the second anniversary of the Saudi-led coalition aggression against Yemen, condemning clear aggression against Yemeni lands.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The statement called for bringing an end to war and bloodshed in the country as soon as possible.
 
The number of war casualties as acknowledged by international organizations and officials reach thousands (including women and children) and over 18 million Yemenis are in dire need of human aid. 8 million others including children are on the verge of malnutrition, drought and hunger, the statement read.
 
The war has caused intentional destruction of this poor country, continuous bombardment of health and educational centers, the statement read.
 
The Islamic Republic of Iran stresses on its 4-article plan which includes ending war and bloodshed in Yemen, sending human aid and lifting cruel economic and human seizure on Yemen, beginning political talks and forming national unity government in Yemen, the Foreign Ministry said in the statement.
 
It also calls on the international community to boost efforts to lessen Yemenis suffers, the statement read.
