Tehran, YJC. Qalibaf has said that sanctions imposed on Iran have not affected the affairs of the Municipality.

Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf met with Religious References (Marjas) in Qom on Thursday to present reports on his administration at Tehran Municipality.

Qalibaf said in this meeting that things are under control in the municipality and they know where to lead affairs.

"As you know, unlike the government, municipalities do not get anything from oil and they must raise and spend money for themselves.”

He added "Thanks to God, municipality affairs were not blemished by all the difficulties imposed through sanctions and all the side issues of the last year, that is, whatever was decided in the previous year was carried out all the way through.”

"This showed,” he added "that if we really apply decent management and agenda against sanctions, problems could be reduced.”
