TEHRAN, March 16, YJC - Iraqi Ambassador to Iran Rajeh Saber Abboud al-Mousavi said that the region would have fallen in case Iran had not helped.

Young Journalists Club (YJC) - He appreciated Iran’s role in fight against terrorists and helping Iraq to battle the ISIL and said, "The region would have fallen in case Iran had not helped.”
He said Iran and Iraq’s being neighbors is so important in this strategic region, because the two countries are providing a great service to humanity and would play a considerable role in the future of human being.
They also share many commonalities, he said, adding, "The Islamic Republic of Iran is forerunner in Islamic unity and fights with enemies of the region and their plots.”
He added that the ongoing events in the region are due to presence of foreigners and terrorists loyal to Saddam Hossein.
