Tehran, YJC. Kamran Bagheri Lankarani has said that he is running for presidential campaigns for advices by Ayatollah Mesbah.
Speaking in the sidelines of the Islamic Society of Students
Conference in Mashhad, the Spokesman for the Resistance Front said
in answer to
a question as what qualifications he found in himself to have signed up for
presidential campaigns "In a meeting I had a couple of weeks ago with Ayatollah
Mesbah he obliged me to do some things.”
He followingly added that Mesbah has asked him to run for the presidential elections in accordance to a kind of "moral duty.”
Lankarani was the Minister of Health during Ahmadinejad’s first administration.
He is now a representative of the Resistance Front, intending to announce his candidature for the upcoming elections soon.
