IKCO achieved Certificate EAC for its cars, allowing the company to develop new export markets and revive its ex-markets in the CIS countries.
This certificate is allocated to IKCO's six sedans including Soren ELX, Samand ELX, Soren Turbo, Runna, Dena and 206 SD.
Based on this IKCO can dispatch its cars to CIS markets with custom exemptions.
It should be noted that this certificate plays a crucial role in gaining an appropriate and sustainable share of the market in Russia.
Russia in which IKCO has sold about 12,000 sets of cars holds 80% of the CIS car market demand. On the other hand, Russia is the largest country in the region and Kazakhstan is the entrance border to the EAC Customs Union countries for car export.
It is expected IKCO can boost export to CIS countries after gaining the certificate EAC.
In the meantime, other foreign carmakers try presenting products with improved quality, better facilities and lower prices to boost their competitiveness and win a greater share of global markets.
Fulfilling specialized market analysis and studies, identifying competitors and achieving business requirements and standards required for entering target countries are the main issues that IKCO works on to gain a stable and assured share of global markets.
