Danish Tax Minister Karsten Lauritzen said his country’s investors are enthusiastic for expanding economic activities in Iran.
In a meeting with Iranian Minister of Economy and Finance Ali Tayyeb-Nia, the two sides discussed signing avoiding double taxation, customs cooperation and supporting mutual investment.
"The Danish side is quite interested in boosting bilateral economic ties with Iran, specially investment,” Tayyeb-Nia said after the meeting.
Danish tax minister said investors of his country are keen to expand presence in Iranian capital market and participation in Iran’s plans, he added.
Tayyeb-Nia continued the two sides reached agreements on tax, customs and investment cooperation.
"Today, we took the first step for signing the basic agreement,” he noted.
