Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif arrived in Germany on Friday for 53rd Munich Security Conference.
10 presidents and vice presidents, 8 prime ministers, 30 foreign ministers, 20 defense ministers and officials of international organizations including the UN secretary general, NATO secretary general, OIC, AL and SCO secretary generals as well heads of EU parliaments and council, EU foreign policy chief, IAEA, Intrepol and IOM director generals and EU commissioners are attending the event.
The participants are going to discuss security, extremism, terrorism, NATO future, global order, issues on southeast Asia and Korean peninsula, Arab world, Syria and Ukraine in public sessions.
Technical sessions would focus on cyber security, health security, energy security and defense against terrorism.
Zarif is accompanied by his Deputy for Legal and International Affairs Abbas Araqchi and his Deputy for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi.
