The 9th International Gold, Silver, Jewelry, Watch and Related Industries Exhibition has opened in Tehran.
Over 140 Iranian companies from various provinces and 10 foreign ones from Turkey, Italy, Germany, Armenia, Thailand, Britain and Belgium are displaying their latest products as well as equipment and methods for producing gold, silver and jewelry in the exhibition.
The first international conference on gold, jewelry, precious gemstones and semi-precious gemstones would be held on the sidelines of the exhibition with representatives of various countries attending.
The expo opened on February 16 and closes on February 19.
It includes all types of jewelry, precious gemstones, watch, equipment and machinery for designing and producing them as well as decorating ideas for jewelry centers.
Iran is exporting gold to the UAE, Dubai, Oman, Turkey and Afghanistan.
