Iran, Cuba sign several MoU to widen bilateral ties

Iran and Cuba signed 12 Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) for mutual cooperation in various domains as well as a final document of joint economic commission between the two countries, said Iranian Health Minister Hassan Hashemi.
Iran, Cuba sign several MoU to widen bilateral tiesThe documents including cooperation in lifting official passports, cooperation in biotechnology, new-combination drugs, agriculture, energy, power generation, using new methods for energy generation, gas and oil exploration in Mexican Gulf, sources and mines, culture and developing teaching Spanish at Tehran University were signed in Cuba.

Reestablishment of Iran-Cuba joint economic commission would be a new start for widening bilateral cooperation, especially between private sectors of the two sides, Hashemi continued.

Hashemi noted Iran is willing to use experiences of Cuba in certain fields, including bio-technology.

He added that the nuclear agreement between Iran and P5+1 has provided a good opportunity for developing mutual cooperation between the two countries.
