Tehran, YJC. Bahonar has said Hashemi’s candidacy can be the last mistake in his political career.

Speaking in meeting with student activists of Mashhad, Bahonar also said, the coalition of 5 has asked the Reformists to join them, even urging the tripartite to do the same.

He added "Disregard for the law, disrespect for public wisdom, demolishing the country’s structures, and frigidity in foreign policy are the main problems about the current administration.”

"Those who called the sanctions but a piece of paper now keep saying that our problems come from the sanctions, while 70 percent of the problems come from lack of plan and comprehensive developmental document,” he added.

He said "The coalition of five has from the beginning requested the Principalist to join them. We even want the tripartite to join the coalition of five.”

Bahonar stated that Hashemi is a member of the revolution’s board of trustees, adding "There is the possibility that great people make great mistakes, which is true about him.”

"Hashemi’s candidacy can be the last mistake in his political career,” Bahonar believed

He believed that the Reformist have done Hashemi the greatest wrong, saying "I remember that prior to the six term of the Majlis, Hajarian stated that if the Principalists do not support Ayatollah Hashemi we will support him. This shows the depth of enmity that the Reformists hold toward Ayatollah Hashemi.”
