Islamic Revolution cut off US and other countries’ hands from Iran: Ex-PM

"Islamic Revolution initiated from Emam Khomeini and people complied with his request. The revolution got started with pure Mohammadi Islam was not known to the superpowers of that time” Iranian ex-MP Esmaeel Kouthari expressed.

He added that the US, UK, and Zionists did not know Emam Khomeini and thought Emam as compromiser like other compromiser politicians and that they could influence him, putting pressure on him.

The ex-MP asserted that with Islamic Revolution bloomed, the western countries started to assassinate people, activated anti-Revolution groups, and initiated war against Iran, yet Emam Khomeini strongly resisted against them and ultimately cut off the US and other countries’ hands from Iran.
Pointing out that the western countries had a lot of interests in Iran, Kouthari said that before Revolution, out of 6.5 million barrels of oil produced, just 0.5 million ones were used for domestic consumption and the rest were exported, for at that time Iran had no authority over its oil.

"The Americans approved Capitulation bill, therefore did committed any crime and there was no authority to petition about it” Kothari said referring to the point that before Revolution Iran protected the US interests in the region. "The absolute victory of Islamic Revolution of Iran caused the anger of the western countries” he added.

Pointing out that people have a strong sense of belonging toward Islamic Revolution, the ex-MP said that this sense of belonging has made the western countries angry and they are deserved to die for their anger.

Kouthari noted that Islamic Revolution cut off the hands of foreign burglars from Iran and must clean the country of corruption.
