Tehran, YJC. Mottaki who is likely to run for elections has said that he does not believe talks with the US to be eternally out of question.

"If the US does not keep on adventurism then we could talk, regarded that it has arrived at the decision. I do not believe that we cannot have relations with the US for good. Our basics do not oppose negotiations with the US,” Manouchehr Mottaki asserted.

The deposed Ahmadinejad Minister said "Negotiations take specific requirements. Both sides must be ready for talks, that is, behaviors must hold negotiatory, and not sanctionary, air.”
He then added "One who still thinks that sanctions could affect the Iranian is not fit for negotiating with. The US must understand that the pressure approach does not work for Iran.”

He also pointed to the sanctions as of little consequence and stated "Experts say that sanctions have an optimum 20 percent impact on our economy. This means that 80 percent of the economy is due to ineptitude.”

"We must keep in mind that we have no right to go by trial and error,” Mottaki believed.
