Iran’s copper production has shown a rise over the first nine months of Iranian calendar year (started on March 20, 2016), comparing to similar period in the year before.
World copper price has increased by $750 since last two months. Its price is now stable in global markets, hitting $5775.
Iran’s copper concentrate rose by 13 percent over the first 9 months of Iranian calendar year comparing to similar period in the year before.
The three major copper mines in Iran Mes-e Sarcheshmeh, Mes-e Sungun and Mes-e Miduk produced 805.063 tons of concentrate copper, while the figure reached 711.531 tons over the first 9 months of previous Iranian calendar year.
