Iranian crude production reached 3.9 million barrels daily, said Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zangeneh.
Iranian crude output surpassed 3.8 million barrels, hitting 3.9 million barrels per day, he said.
Iran was not supposed to reduce crude output under the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) deal, he said, adding, "Iran is also permitted to increase output and it is
going on with its plans without any limitation.”
Concerning cooperation with foreign firms, he said, "We have received permit since 4 months ago and we have started talks.”
Iran has signed a deal with Total on phase 11 of South Pars oil field, he added.
