Iran and Syria signed 5 Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) in presence of Iranian First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri and Syrian Prime Minister Imad Khamis.
Transfer of a phosphorus mine in Syrian al-Sharqiya was one of the MoU signed by Iranian Minister of Economy Ali Tayyeb-Nia and Syrian Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Adib Mayyaleh.
The two sides also signed agreements on transfer of 5.000 hectares farming lands, mobile phone operator and 5.000 hectares land for oil terminals and reservoirs.
Khamis arrived in Iran on Tuesday to meet with senior Iranian officials.
