Iran is going to sign two agreements with two well-known Japanese companies on modernizing and optimizing production process in Tehran Oil Rrefining Company and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, said Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Products Refining and Distribution Company (NIOPRDC) Abbas Kazemi.
Iran has held numerous talks with international companies, especially firms from South Korea and Japan on reducing mazut production in refineries, he said.
Kazemi continued that Japan Cooperation Center Petroleum (JCCP) and Japan Gasoline Corporation (JGC) have started final talks in Tehran Oil refining Company.
He also said that the 13th Kish International Energy Exhibition with the approach of ‘investment’ is scheduled for January 9-12 in southern Iranian Kish Island.
Such exhibitions could help investment in Iranian oil industry, especially refining industries, he said.
Representatives of Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany, the US, Spain, China, Russia, South Africa, Holland and Scotland are expected to join the expo, Kazemi added.
