The exhibition is scheduled for January 24-27 in Muscat.
So far, 90 Iranian companies in foodstuff, industry, construction material, carpet, technical and engineering services, agriculture, chemicals, home appliances, metals, mines, oil, gas and petrochemistry have enrolled in the event, he said.
High-ranking officials are the two sides are expected to join the inauguration ceremony of the event.
Late December, Oman opened a specialized exhibition (OPEX) in Tehran in a ceremony attended by Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad-Reza Nemat-Zadeh and Omani Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidi.
This was Oman’s six specialized exhibition held in Tehran.
The exhibition involved achievements in foodstuffs, oil, gas, petrochemistry, medicine and construction.
Chairman of Iran-Oman Chamber of Commerce Mohsen Zarabi called the exhibition a very important event in bilateral ties between the two sides, saying the event was held with Omani companies were keen to expand cooperation with Iranian firms in business, investment and industry.
