Iran will receive know-how for manufacturing Hyundai sedans.
Managing Director of Iran’s Kerman Automotive Industrial Company Saman Firouzi said that the company has made an agreement with South Korean Hyundai for transfer of know-how and expertise on production of the cars.He said that Iranian car-manufacturer is after making modern vehicles with high quality, adding new models of Hyundai are being produced in Iran.
According to Firouzi, Hyundai i20 and i10 are being produced in Iran. The sedans are South Korean company’s 2017 product.
The two cars are made with automatic gearbox.
