Iran has exported 272 thousand tons of chromium in 7 months, Iranian Customs Organization said in a report.
The 7-months period included March 20 to October 20.
The exports brought over $38 million revenue for the country.
China, Spain, India, Turkey, Oman and Japan have been main customers for Iran’s chromium.
Chromium is a chemical element with symbol Cr and atomic number 24.
It is the first element in Group 6. It is a steely-grey, lustrous, hard and brittle metal which takes a high polish, resists tarnishing, and has a high melting point.
