Iran-Kazakhstan trade exchanges hit $600 million over last 9 months, said Iranian envoy to Kazakhstan Mojtaba Demirchilou.
Iran, Kazakhstan trade exchanges hit 600 mln in 9 monthsHe said that Iran’s imports from Kazakhstan hit $420 million and its exports to the country reached $130 million from March 20- December 20.

The Iranian diplomat said that Iran’s exports to Kazakhstan included foodstuff, nuts, construction material and equipment, paint chemicals and resin.

Iran has bought steel, steel products and cereal from the Central Asian country, he said.

The Iranian envoy also referred to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s recent visit to Kazakhstan and said during the visit, 70 representatives of Iranian economic companies and 150 Kazakh ones joined a trade conference and signed several Memoranda of Understanding (MoU).

He expressed the hope that the MoU and will of the two sides would pave the way for boosting bilateral ties between the two sides, especially in economic section.
