Iranian Energy Minister Hamid Chit-Chian said that Russians are going to invest in building a 1400 MW powerplant in southern Iran.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev or his deputy would visit Iran to take part in a ceremony to start constructing a 1400 MW power plant in Hormozgan Province, southern Iran, he said on Thursday.
"We will be using Russian investment for a 1400 MW power plant in Sirik, a city in Hormozgan and its construction would be started soon.
He noted that the power plant would be one of the most advanced ones in Hormozgan.
