An Iranian official said that the country is planning to develop scientific cooperation with Malaysia and Japan.
Iran seeks widening scientific cooperation with Malaysia, JapanSecretary of Research, Technology and Techmart Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran said the aim of holding techmart exhibitions is expanding cooperation among science parks,
universities and scientific centers, "We are trying to hold techmart exhibitions to spread scientific relations from inside to other countries.”

He said that Iran and Malaysia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the event. Iran and Malaysian Putra University signed the MoU in a bid to establish satellites growth centers.

The agreement has already been signed between Malaysia and Japan and with Iran’s joining the MoU, it has turned out to be a trilateral agreement among Iran, Malaysia and Japan.

Signing the agreement, Iranian researchers along with Japanese and Malaysians could expand cooperation through joint projects.

The MoU also paves the way for foreign investment in Iran and Iranians’ investment in the joint plans.
