Senior aide to the leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution reiterated Ali-Akbar Velayati that the US was disappointed at victory in Syria.
Iran and Russia are supporters of Syrian nation and government, he told reporters, adding Turkey as a countries which made some problems for Syria in the past is now gradually standing by Iran and Russia, and this is good for the four countries.The Syrian nation and government showed that they resist against foreigners’ interference and can overcome a 6-year comprehensive war in which 80 mercenary countries, supported by the US, Europe, Zionists, Saudi and Qatar, have been involved.
He also said that mutual understanding of Iran, Russia and Turkey on the issue of Syria and their meeting in Moscow would bring good results for the region and have positive reflection in the world.
He further referred to the UN resolution on Syria approved following Qatar’s proposal, and said, "Qatar is prime suspect and Saudi Arabia is another criminal which is also a prime suspect. What do they want in Syria? What are they doing in Syria? They neither share border with Syria nor a contract with Syrian government.”
