Tehran, YJC. Larijani on Monday praised as promising the recent framework nuclear agreement between Tehran and world powers.
Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani expected a bright future
in the course of negotiations over Tehran's peaceful nuclear program.
"Fortunately, the administration's measures on the
nuclear issue reveal a good prospect,” he said.
"Moreover, the Lausanne press announcement, which is the
result of negotiations during recent months, is a good sign indicating the
settlement of the nuclear issue," he said in a meeting with Majlis staff
members.
Lairjani also voiced the parliament's support for the
country's negotiating team in the course of talks with world powers and
expressed the hope that the negotiations would lead to the preservation of the
Iranian people's rights.
Iran and the P5+1 on April 2 reached a framework agreement
on Tehran's peaceful nuclear program after more than a week of intensive
negotiations in Lausanne, Switzerland, with both sides committed to push for a
final, comprehensive deal until the end of June.
