Tehran, YJC. Saeb Erekat has likened the Israeli MP to ISIL leader.
Saeb Erekat, Member of the Palestinian Parliament for
Jericho, said that the Israeli Prime Minister is much like Abubakr al-Baghdadi,
the leader of the terrorist group of Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
Erekat, also a member of the Palestinian Authority
negotiation team in the UN, said in answer to Jerusalem Post reporter’s
question of the differences between the two leaders "Netanyahu is the one who
dipped the bodies of a 16-year-old Palestinian youth in gasoline and burned him
alive; while Baghdadi also beheads foreign reporters and Iraqi and Syrian
youth.”
In the same fashion that Baghdadi has trespassed the
religion despite the fact that he considers himself Muslim, Netanyahu has trespassed
Juish human principles, he said.
"No matter what religion is at stake, extremism is always
blind,” Erekat added.
