Tehran, YJC. The Iranian Customs has announced that in 2014, the country’s trade turnover with 96 countries has been positive.
The announcement adds that the turnover has been negative
with 82 countries.
The country’s trade balance, not including crude oil and gas
condensates, stood at $20,743 billion.
During the period, imports counted for 61.49 percent of the
whole trade.
The year’s trade showed 4.79 percent growth in weight and
11.88 percent growth in value compared to 2013.
That counts for 42.102 million tons of goods, worth $55.52
billion.
This comes with an increase of 32.27 percent in weight and
19.47 percent in value.
Iran has had the largest positive trade balance with Iraq,
Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, and Egypt, while the largest negative
trade with the UAE, South Korea, China, Sweden, and Germany.
