Tehran, YJC. 8 days into the Iranian New Year holiday, some 36 million Iranians have sought night accommodation as travelers.
Head of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicraft, and Tourism
Organization has said that by Farvardin 8, March 28, 36 million Iranians who
were on trip for their New Year holiday sought night stand accommodations.
Masoud Soltanifar noted that the number does not count for
all those Iranians who made a holiday trip.
He said that 8
percent of these booked hotels, 14 percent stayed at places belonging to the
Education Ministry (such as schoolrooms), 15 percent in motels, 15 percent in
inns belonging to other organizations, and the rest in special camps set up
specifically for Noruz travelers.
