Tehran, YJC. Frank-Walter Steinmeier has said that the nuclear negotiations with Iran are at final stages.
German Federal Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said
that the nuclear talks with Iran are going through their final stages.
Steinmeier made the remarks upon arrival in Luassuane,
Switzerland where he and other 5+1 counterparts were to hold talks with Iranian
nuclear negotiators.
"We are facing decisive days ahead. After almost 12 years of
negotiations with Iran, now the last 'match'of the negotiations begins,”
Press TV reported him as saying on Saturday.
"I just hope that, regardingwhat we have reached in
the last 12 months, we don'tcancel' the attempt to get to a final deal. I
believe, after the serious negotiating will showed in the last 12 months, every
effort is necessary to reach a comprehensive result,” Steinmeier said.
Later the day, the German FM held talks with his Iranian
counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif. Zarif described the talks as "excellent”.
