Tehran, YJC. The first 2015 FIFA ranking has shown that the Iranian women’s national soccer team stands 58th.
The recent FIFA ranking put Germany, the US, France, Japan,
Sweden, and Britain at places 1 through 6 in women’s soccer.
The Iranian women’s
Team Melli (national team) improved its ranking by 75 places to come 58th.
The Team Melli ranked 13th in Asia where Japan, North
Korea, Australia, China, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Taipei, Myanmar, and
Uzbekistan rank 1 to 10th.
The Iranian team lost the Olympics qualifiers with a win
against Laos and a defeat against Taipei.
