Tehran, YJC. The Friday preacher has said that unless sanctions are entirely removed, Iran will not give way to a nuclear deal.
The devil does devilish deeds, which is enmity with man. These are devils. They wanted to create a situation where, if talks fail, they would be able to accuse the country of failing the talks, said Hojatoleslam Kazem Seddiqi speaking to prayers in Tehran on Friday.
Both the Iranian nation and the leader assert that we are all about talks. What the Supreme Leader, nation, and negotiators are against is that the Iranian nation will not give way to US exessive demands, Seddiqi said.
He added that the red lines laid out earlier are to fight the excessive demands that are made of Iran against international norms.
The cleric reiterated Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's recent statement that sanctions removal is not a result of the talks, but the content of hte talks.
Iran and the group 5+1 are holding talks on Tehran's nuclear program.
While the Western powers are trying to limit Iran's nuclear activities through the talks, Iran maintains that any deal would require the removal of all economic sanctions.
