Tehran, YJC. Iranian Supreme Leader says the group 5+1 must lift the entire sanctions on Iran's economy once a deal is struck.
Speaking to thousands of people in the religious city of Mashhad, Razavi Khorasan Province, on Saturday, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that the sanctions have given Iran an opportunity for self-realization.
He noted that great national project, such as the recent inauguration of the South Pars Phase 12, are a sign that the country pushes on its path despite international pressure.
He further asserted that heeding people's economic situation and welfare should be top on agenda for the Iranian government since making people grow impatient with life's difficulties is one of the programs pursued by enemies in order to create dissatisfaction among Iranians.
He also pointed to the ongoing nuclera negotiations between Iranian and Western diplomats and asserted taht any comprehensive deal with the six major powers would require the removal of all sanctions.
The then stated that apparent disagrements in US do not mean that the American statesmen do not need nuclear negotiations, but there are political factions in the US that do not want a government run by their Democrat rivals to pull off nuclear talks with Iran to a final outcome."Obama’s Nowrouz message included dishonest assertions and his claim of friendship for Iranian people was not sincere,” the Leader stated, adding that Obama’s claim that there are people in Iran who do not want nuclear case to be resolved through diplomacy is a lie.
