Tehran, YJC. Organization says that by Mar. 20, Iranians will have conducted worth $18 billion online shopping this Iranian year.
According to
statistics by the Central Bank, online shopping had added up to about $9 billion
by the end of September 22, and the
number is expected to reach $18 billion by Mar. 20, E-commerce Development
Center Managing Director Mohammad Garkani Nejad stated.
The official further
stated that the expected number will indicate 229 percent growth compared to
the previous year, according to ISNA news agency on Mar. 1.
Iran has been
trying to improve its internet services especially starting with the Rouhani
administration which started in July 2013.
