Tehran, YJC. Izadi underlined that the regional terrorist groups were created as part of a plot to strengthen Israel's operational power.
"The moves by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)
to strengthen the Zionist regime shows the nature of the Takfiri movement,"
said Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces for Logistics Major
General Mostafa, addressing a ceremony in the city of Marivan, Western Iran, on
Monday.
He stressed that the main goal of the ISIL and other terrorist
groups is to taint the image of genuine Islam to prevent its progress in the
heart of the Europeans.
Speaking elsewhere, Major
General Hassan Firouzabadi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, said
that the US, Britain and Israel have created and supported the ISIL terrorist
group to wage a war against the Muslim countries.
"The phenomenon of the ISIL is a terroristic move that
has been created against our neighbors in Iraq, Syria and other Muslim countries by Zionism, Britain and the US,” he
told reporters
Firouzabadi stated that the arrogant powers are using the
ISIL because of its extremely violent behavior to achieve their goals.
