Tehran, YJC. The Islamic Republic of Iran Police and the Police of the Republic of Azerbaijan will hold the 8th summit of border patrolling in the Iranian capital Tehran.
General Hassan Momeni, Iranian Police Deputy Commander of
Border Treaties, said the event will be held on 23-24 February 2015.
Momeni stated that Lieutenant General Elchin Qoliov, Azeri
Commander of Border Patrol, will attend the summit.
"The joint meeting aims at establishing active diplomacy in
missionary arena with neighbor states, strengthening the bilateral bonds,
fighting organized border crimes, and expanding the border interaction between
the two neighbor countries,” he added.
Baku hosted the previous round of the summit..
