ABU DHABI, February 22. /TASS/. Russia and Italy expect to develop cooperation in the defense and industrial sector and other spheres, Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said on Sunday.
"We talked with the Italian defense minister who is in charge of the defense and industrial sector. Italy and Russia are long-standing partners and are interested in developing and continuing cooperation," Manturov said.
The pause in this cooperation can be overcome quite quickly, the minister said.
"We should return to the active phase of cooperation in all areas," the Russian industry and trade minister said.
