Tehran, YJC. The foreign ministers of Iran and Germany have started bilateral talks.
In Munich, Iranian foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif
started talks with German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier right after hi
finished negotiations with US State Secretary John Kerry.
Zarif is being accompanied by deputies Abbas Araqchi and
Majid Takht Ravanchi.
Talks between Zarif and Kerry on the prospect of
negotiations between Iran and the 5+1 lasted for two hours and a half.
Earlier on Thursday, Zarif told reporters in Dubai that in
Munich, he will have detailed negotiations on Irans nuclear issue.
He was in Dubai to change flights to Munich back from his
four-nation African tour.
Zarif is also to attend on Sunday a panel discussion on Iran
with Kerry, Steinmeier and French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius in Munich
Security Conference.
The Munich Security Conference will be held February 6-8, in
the German city of Bavaria.
It could be the venue for further talks on Tehranˈs nuclear
program between Iran and six world powers (US, Russia, China, Britain, France
and Germany).
Hundreds of leading decision-makers and prominent senior
analysts from dozens of countries are slated to participate at the confab to
dwell on various top political and security issues, notably terrorism, the
Ukrainian conflict and the Mideast crisis hotspots.
