Berlin (dpa) - German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier says Russia-Ukraine talks produced "discernible progress" over the withdrawal of heavy weapons from September's ceasefire demarcation line in eastern Ukraine.
The moves do not constitute a breakthrough, he says, after three hours of meetings of the foreign ministers of Russia, Ukraine,Germany and France, sources in the German delegation say.The intention of the talks is to stop the growing conflict in eastern Ukraine between pro-Russian separatists and Ukraine government troops.
