Tehran, YJC. The Iranian FM has emphasized the important place of Africa in Iran's foreign policy.
Foreign
Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Iran has always been trying to have
brilliant political relations with African nations.
Speaking at a meeting with Iranian merchants and businessmen who reside in
Kenya on Monday, the Iranian FM referred to the African continent as a stage
for competition for all countries.
This is due to the continent's high potentials and chances in trade, Zarif
added.
The foreign minister said Iran has developed plans for long-term relations with
African countries in economy, healthcare, education and science.
Providing comments on Iran's nuclear negotiations with the 5+1, Zarif expressed
regret that certain people both in and out of the country were against removal
of sanctions because they saw it to their disadvantage.
