Tehran, YJC. The commander of the Iranian Quds Force has lain wreaths at the graves of Hezbollah fighters including Jihad Mughniyah.
Qassem Soleimani,
Commander of the IRGC Quds Force, met Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed
Hassan Nasrallah and other officials from the Lebanese resistance movement.
According to Al
Mayadeen TV channel on Friday, Soleimani also laid wreaths at the graves of resistance
fighter Jihad Mughniyah, who was martyred in an Israeli strike on Syrian Golan
Heights.
Jihad was the son
of Hezbollah commander Imad Mughniyah, who was himself assassinated in Damascus
in 2008 by Israeli forces.
The Quds
commander also met the Mughniyeh family to express his condolences.
In the Israeli
raid on Quneitra in Golan Heights, Iranian general Mohammad Ali Allahdadi was
also killed.
He had traveled
to Syria to provide consultation to Syrian military forces in their fight
aggaisnt terrorists in the country.
