Paris next host for Zarif-Kerry talks

Tehran, YJC. Kerry has said he might have another meeting with Zarif in the French capital, Paris, to discuss Iran’s nuclear program.

US Secretary of State John Kerry on Thursday announed that he may once again sit down for nuclear talks with the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif in in the French capital on Friday.

He met the announcement at the end of the two diplomats’ lengthy talks in Geneva, Switzerland.

"There is no final decision as to whether or not we will meet in Paris,” noted Kerry and further stated that he and his Iranian counterpart would be in the Paris for talks with French officials on Friday.

On Wednesday, the two politicians started 3 rounds of intense negotiations in Geneva to help expediate the upcoming nuclear negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 group - Russia, China, France, Britain, the US and Germany as how Tehran should pursue its nuclear program without incurring a negative approach from the powerful countries.

US State Department sources announced the US and Iranian heads of foreign policy held "substantive” talks in the Swiss city.

The Iranian foreign minister is now in Berlin for talks with Frank-Walter Steinmeier, his German counterpart.

Zarif is also scheduled to travel to Paris and Brussels, the EU’s de facto capital, as he steps up his diplomatic efforts to facilitate an agreement between Iran and its six negotiators.
