Tehran, YJC. the Afghani President Ashraf Ghani is scheduled to make a trip to Iran in the near futre.
The plan was announced by the Ghani’s spokesperson on
Wednesday Nazif Salarzi.
Salarzi pointed out that the priority in Ghani’s visit would
be to negotiate the issue of regional peace and stability including ways of
fighting terrorism.
The official added that "the articles of peace agreement
that had been offered by Iran during former Afghan President Hamid Karzai, are
also going to be reviewed to be signed by Ghani.”
Extending economic and transit relations, finding ways to
cope with drug trafficking, and exploring the possible ways of establishing
peace in Afghanistan were also reported to be among the most important issues
to be discussed.
According to the spokesperson, the exact time of Ashraf
Ghani's visit to Tehran is going to be fixed and announced later on.
