Tehran, YJC. Closing his 2-day visit to Bushehr Province, Rouhani attended a press conference to brief reporters on actions taken.
One of the top plans okayed during the President’s visit to
Bushehr was execution of eleven projects in 2015 and 2016 which are considered
to count as big steps in meeting economic issues in the province with a $173-million
budget.
The construction of a stadium with a seating capacity of
15,000 was one of the projects ratified by President Rouhani in his trip.
He also unveiled another big project of building two more
power plants that would produce 2,000 megawatts of power, in addition to producing
sweet water for the provincial consumption.
In line with Bushehr’s high capacity in tourism, the president
also unveiled projects for building two tourism villages as a move to boost the
province’s tourism industry and attract more investments into the economic
stream of the province.
The construction of two dams also kicked off during the trip.
Asserting that the government needs to provide
infrastructure needed for the execution of the plans in, Rouhani urged local
officials and people to take on greater shares in helping the government to
implement its plans.
