Jahangiri visits large-scale agricultural project

Tehran, YJC. Iran’s First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri has visited an agricultural project of over 550 thousand hectares in Khuzestan province.

Jahangiri who was in the capital of Khuzestan, Ahwaz, to take part in the 23rd national conference on prayers, visited a 550-thousand-hectare agricultural project belonging to the Iranian supreme leader.

Jahangiri visited Ahmad Abad, Abu Homaiza, Atabia, Dej, Qotb, and Jalalia in Howaiza County with over 66 thousand hectares in expanse covering the first phase of the project.

The first phase of the project is going to end by the Iranian calendar year 1395. It has made 1000 hectares progress so far.

Jahangiri was accompanied by a number of ministers and provincial officials.

In his stay in Khuzestan, he also visied Shalamche, which is a famous war front of the Iran-Iraq war, to pay homage to the Iranian fighters killed in the war.
