Thursday,1 September 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Minister said Iran demands stronger guarantees from Washington
During his remarks in a news conference with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Moscow, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said Iran demands stronger guarantees from Washington.
“The US text is received and we are reviewing it,” he said and noted “Iran demands stronger guarantees and text to reach a deal,” he said.
He went on to add that “If the US acts realistically and agrees to strengthen the current draft, a deal will be at hand.”
“For months, Iranians held talks for months to reach a good and lasting agreement,” he said.
He also noted that “Once the JCPOA gets revived, Iran will not accept politically-motivated statements.”
