Head of Iran’s Space Organization Hassan Salarieh announced that the country has plans for developing telecommunication satellites and will send it into Orbit.
“Despite the sanctions, we have built a number of indigenous satellites, currently a number of our satellites have reached the launch level,” he noted.
“Several telecommunication satellites are currently in line for launch while we possess special programs for telecommunication satellites to operate at high altitudes,” he added while noting that telecommunication satellites move and carry out their missions in a 36,000-kilometer orbit.
Iran tested its homemade hybrid-propellant satellite carrier rocket called Zuljanah for the second time, in late June.
